Mustad ComfortMix Hoof Pad Plus is the heavy-duty variant in the ComfortMix pad filling range, formulated for horses in demanding work or those requiring additional support over and above standard pad packing. Designed for use in harsh and tough conditions, the Plus formula provides greater durability and a longer-lasting cushioning effect compared to the standard ComfortMix Hoof Pad. Like all ComfortMix products, it is urethane-based, sets in 30 seconds, and bonds directly to a clean dry sole for the full shoeing cycle. It works with any type of pad and seals the solar surface from debris and moisture ingress. The Hoof Pad Plus is the preferred choice for farriers working with horses that spend long periods on hard surfaces, horses in heavy competition work, or animals recovering from sole bruising that require sustained protection between shoeing cycles.
