Mustad ComfortMix Hoof Pad Soft is formulated for horses with very sensitive soles where the priority is maximum cushioning with minimal firmness underfoot. The extra-soft urethane formula provides a noticeably softer feel than standard ComfortMix Hoof Pad, reducing the impact transmitted to the sensitive structures of the foot on hard or stony ground. It sets in 30 seconds and bonds directly to a clean dry sole, sealing the pad from debris and moisture throughout the shoeing cycle. Compatible with any type of pad and suitable for use without a pad where the aim is simply to provide a soft, protective layer over the frog and sole. Ideal for horses with chronic sole sensitivity, thin soles, or those recovering from conditions that have left the solar surface tender and in need of a gentle, cushioned approach.
