The Mustad Dropped Hoof Knife features a dropped blade geometry that positions the cutting edge below the line of the handle, making it particularly effective for working in the deeper sections of the cleft of the frog and for reaching into corners of the hoof that a standard straight-handled knife finds difficult. The ergonomic handle provides comfort and control with optimum thumb placement, and the high-quality carbon steel blade holds a good working edge between sharpenings. Compatible with the Mustad sharpening steel for maintenance in the field. Available in right and left-handed versions.
