Mustad Leather Hoof Pad

Mustad Leather Hoof Pads are traditional full-sole pads cut from quality leather, used to protect the solar surface of the hoof from bruising, stone penetration, and environmental abrasion. Leather pads conform naturally to the sole as they compress under load, providing a custom fit over the shoeing cycle whilst allowing sufficient moisture exchange to maintain a healthy hoof environment. Suitable for use with standard packing materials or hoof filling compounds. Widely used for horses working on hard or stony ground, for thin-soled horses, and as part of a therapeutic shoeing protocol for solar sensitivity. Available in standard sizes to fit the Mustad shoe range.
