The Mustad No-Shock Hoof Pad in Firm density is a polymer full-sole pad designed to provide structured shock absorption for horses working on hard ground or requiring solar protection without excessive compression under load. The firm formulation maintains pad integrity throughout the shoeing cycle and is particularly suited to performance horses and those with moderate solar sensitivity where a soft pad would compress too readily. Trimmed to shape at fitting and used in conjunction with packing compound to exclude debris and moisture. Part of the Mustad No-Shock range, which offers farriers a choice of density to match individual horse requirements.
