The Mustad No-Shock Hoof Pad in Soft density is a polymer full-sole pad offering maximum cushioning for horses with acute solar sensitivity, thin soles, or post-operative requirements. The soft formulation compresses readily under load to absorb concussive forces before they reach the sensitive structures of the hoof, making it the preferred option for horses recovering from bruising, laminitis, or pedal bone pathology. Used with an appropriate packing compound to maintain pad position and seal the solar surface. Part of the Mustad No-Shock range alongside the Firm variant, giving farriers the flexibility to choose pad density to suit each individual horse.
