Pro-Glu Horseslips

HorseSlips are flexible glue-on shoes that allow natural foot expansion and blood circulation around the hoof without interrupting horn growth. The cushioning material reduces concussion, and at the vet's or farrier's discretion the shoe is easily modified for specific foot conditions — making them a versatile option for remedial and transition work. Application requires dry hooves and a clean, dry standing surface. Secure, air-pocket-free bonding is essential, with particular attention at the heels where pressure is greatest. Once applied, the shoe is held firmly in place for 2-4 minutes and wrapped with self-adhesive bandage before the foot is put down; the adhesive continues to cure for several hours, with best results if the horse is kept in for 24 hours. Correctly fitted with an appropriate acrylic adhesive, HorseSlips should stay in place for up to six weeks. Available in Pony (3/4 x 64) and Horse (1 x 76) sizes.
