Red Horse Hoof Stuff is an antimicrobial hoof packing designed for plugging deeper holes and cracks in the hoof. Its fibrous consistency helps it stay put in tight crevices, keeping the active ingredients in contact with the affected area for longer than liquid or paste treatments. Farriers reach for it when dealing with seedy toe, white line disease, deep central sulcus separation, abscess cavities and grass cracks. The formula uses only naturally occurring ingredients: unpasteurised honey for its antimicrobial and healing properties and its sticky consistency, zinc oxide to fight bacteria and support the healing process, and natural fibres that hold the pack in place while applying beneficial pressure to the cavity to encourage regrowth of healthy tissue. Nothing is added to bulk the product out - every ingredient has a job. Hoof Stuff is non-toxic, safe and straightforward to use. It is best suited to deeper, tighter holes where the fibrous pack will stay in place; for shallower, more open defects, Red Horse Artimud is the better choice. Supplied in a 290g tub.
