Rolco Cutting Compound

Cutting compound for sharpening and polishing farrier knives and tools with a polishing wheel or mop. Used in stages, the compounds take a knife from a working edge to a genuine razor finish and will dramatically extend the life of your rasps with just a few strokes a day. The grey compound is the first honing stage - used with a sisal mop, it refines an existing edge by cutting back the softer steel. The white compound follows on a coloured cloth mop as the second honing stage, and for most day-to-day maintenance is all that is needed to keep a sharp knife sharp. The green compound is the final polishing stage - paired with a calico mop it gives a mirror finish to tools and a razor-sharp edge to knives. Available in green, white or grey to suit whichever stage of the sharpening process you need.
