The Spanner Tap is a combination stud tool that both taps out stud holes and screws in the studs. The tap end cleans and reconditions the threads of the stud hole, clearing out dirt and restoring damaged threads, while the handle doubles as a spanner for winding in the chosen stud. Having both jobs covered by one tool makes it a neat addition to the stud kit - no separate tap wrench and spanner to carry. Available in 3/8 inch and 5/16 inch thread sizes to suit the two common stud threads.
