Thera-Kit Spider Plate Aluminium

The Thera-Kit Spider Plate in aluminium is a therapeutic plate from The Shoeing Lab's Thera-Kit range. A spider plate spans the whole solar surface with radiating arms, spreading load across the sole and frog rather than the wall alone - a recognised option for laminitic and foundered feet, pedal bone support and other cases where the wall cannot take the full load. The aluminium construction keeps the plate light on the foot, an advantage where remedial cases are already compromised. As part of the Thera-Kit system it gives the farrier a ready-made remedial option without fabrication at the forge, alongside the heart bar, straight bar and egg bar patterns in the same range. Available in sizes 0 to 3, sold by the pair or by the box.
