Thera-Kit Spider Plate Steel

The Thera-Kit Spider Plate Steel is the steel version of the Thera-Kit spider plate from The Shoeing Lab. A spider plate spans the entire solar surface, distributing weight bearing across the whole foot including the frog and sole - an option reserved for serious remedial cases such as advanced laminitis, where maximum support and protection are required. As part of The Shoeing Lab's Thera-Kit system, these shoes give the farrier a ready-made remedial option without time at the forge, keeping therapeutic shoeing practical on a working round. They pair well with the rest of the Thera-Kit bar shoe family for a full remedial toolkit. An aluminium version is also available. Available in sizes 0 to 3, sold by the pair or by the box.
