Sharpening compound soaps for use with a bench polishing and sharpening kit - all the compounds needed to keep hoof knives and rasps at a keen working edge. Each colour is a different stage in the sharpening process, used with the matching buffing wheel. The Grey compound is the first, most aggressive stage, used on a sisal wheel to re-establish the edge. The White compound is the second stage, used on a coloured cloth mop to refine it. The Green compound is the finishing stage, used on a soft calico mop to bring the edge to a polish and leave a protective silicone finish. Available individually in Grey, White or Green to top up whichever stage you use most.
