Vettec Sole-Guard is a fast-setting urethane pad packing product designed for direct application to the sole and frog, providing immediate protection and comfort without the need for a traditional pad. With a set time of just 30 seconds, Sole-Guard is one of the fastest-curing products in the Vettec range, making it particularly practical when speed of application is important. Once applied, it bonds to the foot for approximately two weeks, providing sustained protection against sole bruising, debris ingress, and the concussive effects of hard or stony ground. The 210cc cartridge holds 30% more material than earlier formats. Sole-Guard is well suited to horses that need a quick, temporary protective layer between shoeing cycles, horses in hard seasonal work, or those requiring sole protection during a period of recovery.
