The Visani Asymmetric Hind pairs one wide branch with one narrow branch in an 8mm section, giving farriers a ready-made pattern for addressing asymmetric loading behind. It is designed for both sports and therapeutic applications. The shoe is ideal for gait correction and medio-lateral asymmetric loading cases, and can be used as an aid in the management of degenerative joint disease (DJD) in the lower motion joints of the hock. The wide branch increases support on its side of the foot while the narrow branch reduces interference and leverage. A practical choice for dressage, endurance and show jumping horses where hind-limb loading needs to be rebalanced.
