Werkman Straight Bar shoes come in a front pattern, either unclipped or with side/quarter clips set between the second and third nail holes. The broad, rolled toe supports the foot and increases break-over, and the section widens with each size, starting at 18mm and going up to 22mm. The straight bar expands the palmar support area without modifying the palmar region, reduces the traction exerted on the deep digital flexor tendon and lowers the load on the navicular, while carrying less risk of the shoe being pulled by the hinds than a palmar extension. Typical applications include founder, deep digital flexor tendon and suspensory-of-the-DDFT disorders, chronic navicular inflammation, palmar foot pain, ligamentous inflammation of the toe region and hoof cracks. Supplied by the pair or by the box in sizes 0 to 4.
Werkman front-pattern straight bar shoe, unclipped or side clipped, with a broad rolled toe for support and enhanced break-over. Web widens from 18mm to 22mm through the sizes. For founder, DDFT and navicular cases.
