Made from flexible, lightweight materials, it is quick and easy to fit and offers a cost-effective, reusable alternative to adhesive bandage and tape - a genuinely useful item for farriers, vets and owners managing foot injuries, abscesses and poulticing. The boot is suitable for use in the stable and can be used on sensible horses in the paddock. Because the materials are deliberately light and flexible for close fit and easy application, exuberant horses or those fresh off box rest may damage the boot by standing on it or pulling up sharply; in those situations a standard overreach boot fitted over the top, or a traditional poultice for the first day turned out, is recommended.
